NASHUA – The Nash Casino continues its streak of success winning three awards from Casino Player Magazine.
The first accolade recognized The Nash as “The Casino Where You Feel Luckiest” in New England.
“It is an honor to be recognized by our guests and by Casino Player Magazine for everything we do to ensure our guests have a great time while they’re at The Nash,” said General Manager Eric Althaus.
The Nash was also honored with awards for Best Blackjack and Best Dealers.
“Receiving three Best of Gaming Awards is a testament to just a few of the many things that set The Nash apart in the New England market as a premier gaming and entertainment destination,” said Althaus.
For the past 30 years, recipients of the Best of Gaming Awards have been determined by votes that patrons submit on the Casino Player Magazine website.
Since opening in March, patrons have won a total of $7.7 million from table games and $10.7 million from Historical Horse Racing.
In May, a blackjack player, known only as Phouma, won the Triple Diamond jackpot of $155,220. The prize is believed to be the largest progressive jackpot in New Hampshire history. Phouma won with an optional side bet of $5.
In May and June, The Nash generated an unprecedented $3.3 million for a total revenue of $6.3 million during the first four months of operations. In addition, the casino has donated $6.1 million to nonprofit organizations throughout Greater Nashua.
Earlier this month, the casino teamed up with American Gaming Systems to launch a poker room promotion focused on AGS innovation, Bonus Spin Xtreme for Poker Rooms. This marked the first gaming venue in New Hampshire to feature Bonus Spin Xtreme in its poker room and the first to have a partnered promotion.
