Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health will kick off its latest “Heads Up: Coping through COVID-19” series Wednesday with a conversation about the anxiety of returning to school during a pandemic. The series began shortly after COVID-19 hit New Hampshire and has explored the pandemic’s impact on mental health and frontline health care workers, and addressed concerns about the vaccine.
Wednesday’s session, which like all segments is available on the Dartmouth-Hitchcock website, will air at noon and feature a parent of two daughters who are too young to be vaccinated, a high school freshman, and a high school principal. They will discuss the anxieties of going back to school after two years in a remote or hybrid learning environment.
The next two sessions will address concerns about returning to the workplace, employer vaccine mandates, changing mask guidance, working from home, and the Delta variant. The third session will explore mental health post-pandemic, including lessons learned and valuing mental and emotional health.
The dates for those sessions have not been announced but will be posted on the Dartmouth-Hitchcock website.
